Focal 4D

Focal 4D provides a comprehensive suite of capabilities that support the visualization and utilization of 4D image sets to create structures and review treatment options. With support for respiratory-correlated images, Focal 4D includes multiple viewing options like cine’ view and variable window formats, side-by-side layouts of all image sets and automated processes for creation of internal target volumes.

Overview at a glance

4D Visualization

multiple modality compatibility Increase efficiency with a robust architecture and flexible, user-defined layout that facilitates the visualization and navigation of 4D patient data. Support for CT, PET, MR and respiratory correlated CT allows clinicians to display any registered data set in any window and review changes to the tumor over the respiration cycle.

Import Maximum Intensity Projections and other images

MIP Streamline and enhance the planning process by importing maximum intensity projections and other specialty images directly from the imaging device, or create these images from 4D image data. MIP, MinIP and AverageIP images are formulated from the original data set based on the needs of the clinic and the viewing preferences of the clinicians, and can be exported for planning or review purposes to other systems.

Enhance structure definition and treatment precision

automated registration New contouring tools and workflow enhancements allow you to enhance structure definition and treatment precision. Automated registration of 4D data and contour propagation among image sets enhance structure definition and treatment precision. Focal 4D allows you to copy and paste structure sets across image sets.

Contour on any image plane

contouring tools Provide quality patient care with advanced tools for contour delineation and improve the planning process by taking into account all available information. Contours are updated in real-time to other planar views.

4D Motion Volume

contouring tools 4D motion volumes are created automatically from the envelope of structures that constitute the tumor volume on multiple respiratory correlated image sets with automatic margins for the planning target volume, or any organ with motion that should be evaluated for planning.
